Bollywood blockbuster movie shot in Malta
The Bollywood Choreographer Shiamak Davar, considered as the guru of contemporary dance in India said that the fact that this year there has been the first productions of Bollywood in Malta paves the way for more Indian films and productions in the future. Mr. Davar, who is responsible for the modernisation of the dancing scene in the film and theatre industry in India is in Malta to prepare for the final night of the first Malta India Film Festival that will take place in mid-December of this year, during which, a film with an Indian or Maltese element will receive a prize of EUR200,000. He explained how this initiative is thought to engage creative people, specifically from the cinematic industry and will get the culture of both countries nearer to each other. During the launch of the Film Festival, Tourism Minister Konrad Mizzi thanked Streamcast Studios, for creating this creative platform that should contribute in an effective manner to increase tourism towards both countries.
